B:Side University 2025 Highlights

As we wrap up 2025, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to every entrepreneur, small business owner, and community member who joined us for B:Side University sessions this year.

In partnership with more than 15 organizations, we hosted 18 sessions helping to educate over 200 small businesses! A huge shout out to our sponsors Lendio Denver, U.S. Bank, PNC Bank, Minority Business Office and Centers for Health, Work & Environment for your continued support.

Throughout the year, we explored a wide range of topics designed to strengthen your financial foundation, build confidence, and support your growth as a business owner. Together, we learned about:

  • Financial knowledge and business fundamentals

  • Accounting, tax planning, understanding financial statements, and building business credit

  • Access to capital and funding strategies

  • SBA programs, alternative funding sources, loan readiness, and choosing the right financing for your needs

  • Growth, strategy, and ownership

  • Buying a business, commercial real estate decisions, succession planning, and business certifications

  • Community and industry-focused topics

  • Resources for rural businesses, support for small and diverse entrepreneurs, and sector-specific insights like manufacturing

  • Technology and people

  • AI tools for small businesses, as well as practical strategies for keeping workers happy and healthy

  • Bilingual Learning Opportunities

We offered 4 sessions in Spanish this year, ensuring that more business owners in our community can access financial education and support in the language that serves them best. 

As you close the year, remember to celebrate your wins, no matter the size, take time to reflect on how far you’ve come, and allow yourself to rest, recharge, and prepare for the opportunities ahead.
